The Verification team is at the core of Veriff's operations. We are the humans behind the scenes safeguarding online identities and stopping fraud. We provide reliable and confidential identity verification services to businesses worldwide. Although spread across multiple locations, our team is unified on a shared purpose.

Veriff is actively hiring its foundingVerification Team Lead for its São Paulo office.  As a Verifications Team Lead, you will be responsible for your team's success, ensuring verification KPIs and quality standards are met. This includes hiring, onboarding, mentoring, and developing verification specialists. You will represent verification interests in cross-company projects and initiatives and play a crucial role in building and nurturing all aspects of the verification operations division.

You’ll help us protect honest people online by:

• Building the leading global identity verification solution
• Working alongside with other teams within the company to maintain and improve Verification KPIs
• Ensuring our clients receive the desired services in collaboration with other divisions 
• Partnering closely with people from inside and outside the company to improve Veriff products
• Identifying issues and implementing new processes to help scale our operations
• Building a verification function that is adaptable, smart and innovative

You are the right future Veriffian for the job if you have/are:

• Fluent in English, with excellent communication skills adaptable to different audiences.
• Experienced in working with teams across multiple locations and time zones.
• Passionate about leadership, with a strong desire to grow into a great people manager.
• A strategic thinker, able to anticipate challenges and plan five steps ahead.
• Solution-oriented, driven by understanding the “why” to figure out the “how.”
• Curious, empathetic, responsible, and creative, with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
• Data-driven, comfortable working with data and making decisions based on analysis.
• Eager to learn about our Verification product and processes.
• Bonus: Familiarity with anti-money laundering (AML) and counter-terrorist financing (CTF) legislative frameworks.
• Bonus:  Trilingual in English/Spanish/Portuguese
