Senior People Operations Specialist

We’re looking for an organized, flexible, and detail-oriented Senior People Operations Specialist for our Brazil (São Paulo) office.  The ideal candidate is someone with strong knowledge of HR processes and the fundamentals of Brazil labor law. You’ll advise employees on a range of day-to-day HR issues. You’ll also play a key role in driving an excellent employee experience by supporting programs, policies, processes, and systems. 

You’ll help us protect honest people online by:

• Being part of the full employment lifecycle for our Veriffians and supporting them from onboarding to exit
• Preparing, reviewing and updating employment contracts, amendments and terminations.
• Ensuring we are always compliant with the local employment regulations in Brazil
• Being the first point of contact for all documentation and time-off questions.
• Conduct background and identity checks based on our internal policies.
• Making sure that our HRIS (BambooHR), other HR-related software, employee files and spreadsheets are always up to date.
• Processing employee’s tickets in our Service Desk according to internal guidelines and processes.
• Ensuring all employee data and documentation is kept secure in accordance with GDPR requirements.
• Making sure that our Accounting team has all the relevant info needed for payroll on time.
• Preparing and maintaining employee handbooks, policies and procedures.
• Supporting employees in relocation processes.

You are the right future Veriffian for the job if you have/are:  

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or at least 3 years of relevant professional experience in general HR administration.
• Good knowledge of Brazil labor law is a must.
• Solution oriented mindset and high attention to detail.
• Strong communication and organizational skills with the ability to prioritize time.
• Positive attitude and ability to work in a faced-paced multicultural work environment.
• Ability to work independently as well as within a team
• Flexibility in working with a team from different time-zones
• Fluent Portuguese and English (both written and spoken), fluency in Spanish would be considered as an advantage
