Information Security Engineer

At Veriff, the Infosec team plays a critical role in safeguarding our digital ecosystem. They are the gatekeepers of our data and systems, ensuring that our products, services, and infrastructure remain secure, compliant, and resilient against ever-evolving cyber threats. The team is responsible for implementing and maintaining security protocols, conducting regular audits, and staying ahead of potential risks. As we continue to grow and innovate, the Infosec team works cross-functionally to embed security into every aspect of our operations, ensuring we maintain the highest standards of trust and safety for our customers and users worldwide

You'll help us protect honest people online by:  

• Monitoring our infrastructure and IT systems and digging in logs for finding security events
• Responding to incidents and conducting further investigation to resolve issues in a timely manner
• Hacking our systems and finding vulnerabilities
• Improving InfoSec services for better security

You are the right future Veriffian for the job if you have:  

• Previously worked as Security Expert, Pen Tester or NOC Specialist with more than 5+ years of experience
• Skills for coding and automating daily routine tasks
• Deployed docker instances and worked with container orchestration like Kubernetes
• Know how to use grep and dig in logs
• Experience with SIEM and tuning correlation rules

You’re an especially awesome match if you have:

• Knowledge of how Apple’s ecosystem works (especially MacOS)
• Read Typescript and React code
• SQL as your second language
