The Engineering team at Veriff is leading the charge to combat the online identity crisis, employing cutting-edge technologies to ensure our platform remains innovative and secure. As we navigate the fast-paced landscape of online security, we are seeking fresh talent to join our ranks, bringing diverse perspectives and new possibilities to our team.

Joining our Engineering division means stepping into a pivotal role within our organization. As the right hand to the CTO in all product platform matters, you'll play a crucial part in driving forward our product enablement initiatives but also in elevating our organizational maturity and our reliability. Collaboration is paramount here; you will work closely with our Director of Product Platform, your counterpart, our Chief of Staff, all the Area Leads in charge of our several product lines, and Staff Engineers. Additionally, you will champion initiatives to keep Veriff ahead of the curve across Product & Engineering is a core aspect of this multifaceted role.

You’ll help us protect honest people online by:

Collaborating with Product to deliver end-to-end world-class products, and impacting our growth and the digital world.
Recruiting, inspiring, and developing top talent, fostering highly engaged teams with a focus on psychological safety, ambition, and accountability.
Driving relentlessly for operational excellence, building trust through the availability and quality of our service, managing risks, and addressing tech debt promptly.
Building leverage through your thoughtful platform strategy and enablement through continuous feedback loops across Engineering
Maintaining productivity and engagement by monitoring roadmaps, metrics, and delivery predictability, while aligning objectives across Product Engineering with the company's mission.
Contributing to Product & Engineering strategy, translating it into actionable plans, and collaborating with leadership to communicate and implement it effectively.
Driving transparency on engineering investments' returns, operational excellence, product delivery efficiency, and impact on business objectives.
Staying updated on technology trends, including AI, and effectively steering technical conversations.
Preparing the organization to scale without compromising productivity or engagement.

You are the right future Veriffian for the job if you have:

A proven track record of building highly engaged teams that drive tangible results.
Experience of modern practices in DevXP, SRE, platform-as-a-product, and/or communities of practices.
Proficiency in establishing end-to-end product development processes with a special focus on developer (and engineering manager) experience.
A proven track record in "adding 9s" to the availability SLOs supporting the business.
A demonstrated ability to influence C-level executives.
Experience navigating the challenges of a scale-up environment.
Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to inspire a wide audience.
Comfort with ambiguity and the ability to thrive in uncertain environments.
Thought leadership in optimizing technical architecture and org design to maximize efficiency and responsiveness to customer needs.

You’re an especially awesome match if you have:

Background in SRE, cybersecurity, cloud services or digital fraud.
Knowledge of GitOps practices.
Knowledge of product development methodology.
Experience in delivering and maintaining modern-AI based solutions.
