I was excited at the opportunity to join Veriff. Their multinationality and the nature of their product — contributing to a better world by ensuring online safety — resonated with me. Having heard consistently positive feedback, including from friends already working there, I was highly motivated to become part of the team.
I'm incredibly proud of the seamless transition I've made between industries, successfully leveraging skills developed in both roles. My experience has truly demonstrated the multifaceted nature of career paths, and I feel I'm a living proof of that. While I've been passionate about both fields and hope to return to marketing someday, I'm currently really enjoying my recruitment role. I genuinely enjoy collaborating with my team and look forward to our work together each day.
My experience working in diverse international settings has enabled me to develop a strong ability to adapt quickly to new environments. This adaptability has proven particularly valuable when interviewing international candidates, allowing me to readily connect with their experiences. Furthermore, I believe the skills I've developed in both recruiting and marketing are highly transferable, creating a versatile foundation for my career.
I'm excited about the prospect of building a new team and, even more importantly, bringing such opportunities to my home country. Returning after a decade away, I'm also thrilled to reconnect with so many people here, all while continuing to collaborate with an international team. It truly feels like the perfect blend of local connection and global perspective.
Currently, I'm volunteering at an animal shelter. I love animals, so I try to help as much as possible with homeless dogs and cats.
I've also taken up cycling and have joined a cycling group here in the city to try to familiarize myself with São Paulo having just moved back.
