Data Collection in Mobile SDKs
Veriff, by the nature of the product, works with lot of personal data. In order to increase the data points around personal data to make more accurate decisions and eliminate the bad actors, we also collect some device data for identifying fraudulent attempts.
In 2022, both Apple and Google introduces changes to their store, requiring applications to declare the datas they collect with the reasoning to inform the end users better.
With these changes now rolling out fully, our clients are required the declare the data collection reasons in their application submissions to the stores. You can find the details for each platform and the required work by clients below.
